Melissa Hammons

Melissa is a Phoenix native who graduated from Portland State University and studied finance and law. She worked as a paralegal during college and then moved back to Phoenix, when her career took a big right turn into the golf and hospitality industry. Her 22 years of sales and marketing experience at high-end resort golf clubs and private country clubs taught her exceptional communication and customer service skills, with a golf game to match! She obtained her real estate license in 2008, where she ‘moonlighted’ for a court-appointed realtor, allowing her to sharpen her legal skills again. Melissa feels her past careers in the legal and hospitality industries have perfectly groomed her to be an exceptional realtor. Providing the most positive experience by really listening to her clients and keeping them informed every step of the way is very important to Melissa. She is known for her attention to detail, being readily available and bringing a collaborative spirit to every transaction. She is proud to work beside the diverse, strong, compassionate and talented realtors at H2 Realty. In addition to residential homes, Melissa’s expertise is in horse properties, custom lots and raw land.

Melissa is married to Mark, a successful land developer, and they have a lot of fun together! They love spending time hiking with their spunky Jack Russell Terrier, Enzo. They also enjoy cooking, drinking great wine, listening to and discovering new music, golfing, traveling and spending time with friends and family. Melissa also has a beautiful horse, Lavino, who she shows as a jumper. She is grateful to Mark for understanding how much time goes into training and showing Lavino.
